| Press Release - MBTA Commuter Rail Project Completed |
| Boston, MA-City Lights Electrical Co., Inc. is pleased the completion of MBTA contract J70CN01. The project was very complex in nature. The area of the work was at sixty-five commuter rail stations from Lowell and Rockport on the north to Framingham in the west and Franklin in the south. The four month schedule made the project even more difficult. With the award of the contract late in September, the site & concrete foundation work as well as the underground conduit system had to be completed prior to December 1st. Multiple crews worked simultaneously at the different stations. Signs structures had to be fabricated and galvanized for installation. Once the site work was completed, crews worked to install electrical services, Fiber optic cabling, Fiber terminations, Variable message signs, and control equipment. The project was called a success by all. |
