John Deady, City Lights Electrical's President stated " The massive mobilization effort to get all the workers, trucks and equipment on the road would not have been possible without the tremendous effort put forth by City Lights Line Superintendant Tom Keough, Warehouse Manager Scott Davidson and General Foremen Mike Gray and Richard Bates." The typical day for the workers begins at 6:00 AM and does not end until 10:00 PM. Meals are eaten on the run. Upon arrival into an area no lodging is available. Many sleep in churches or their trucks, going days without the even taking a shower. Both the temperature and the humidity are in the 90's.
