Historic 23 - Story McCormack
Post Office Building Completed

Electrical Co, Inc. is completed with the
core and tenant build-out of the 725,000 sq. ft.,
J.W. McCormack building. The historic 23-story
Federal Building is located in the heart of Boston’s
Financial District and houses several federal
agencies. The work required the installation of a
multifaceted Fire Alarm System, an 8000 amp
Collector Bus and Normal and Emergency Electrical
Distribution Systems. A 1500 KW Life Safety
Generator and a 750 KW Auxiliary Generator were
installed on the 17th floor roof top. The complex

the interface of a state of the art Control /
